Our Work
Taiwan's indigenous communities have lived on this land for generations. They have faced many challenges: loss of land, unequal access to resources, and a lack of opportunities. The outside world often misunderstands or even ignores them. However, behind these difficulties, they continue to uphold their deep connection with nature, protecting their culture and traditions with wisdom and patience.

What's AIICO Doing?
Future Indigenous Wisdom
Building Sustainable Global
Climate Action Together
Even in the face of limited resources and inequality, the indigenous people have not given up. Their inherent respect for nature, their symbiotic relationship with the environment, and the use of their Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) and Indigenous and Local Knowledge (ILK) have allowed them to address climate change and other challenges. "Their knowledge is deeply rooted in this land, wisdom that breathes in harmony with nature."

We have had the privilege of working with these communities for many years. We have witnessed how they use their ancestral knowledge to protect their homes, manage water resources, and practice selective logging, while reducing reliance on external energy.
Together, we have promoted self-sufficient economic models that not only protect the environment but also enable them to maintain independence and dignity. Whenever We see the growth and transformation of their communities, the personal sacrifices We have made—time, energy, and even my personal life—seem insignificant because seeing their smiles and hope makes it all worthwhile.
We see the potential in these young people. They are eager to learn, not only modern knowledge from schools but also the wisdom passed down from their ancestors. The combination of these two will become their strongest weapon in facing climate change, economic pressures, and societal challenges. Through education and inheritance, they will have the ability to solve the problems of today and lead their communities towards a brighter future. We sincerely hope to bring them here to speak for themselves, but my limited resources have constrained me. We look forward to the day when more of them can join us in person.

This is why we established the Asian Integrated Indigenous Community Action Organization (AIICO). Through this organization, we aim to promote sustainable development projects, whether in renewable energy, the circular economy, and six-level industry integration. These efforts will bring new opportunities to the communities, especially providing a future for the younger generation. These projects not only enable communities to become self-sufficient but also help them continue to thrive in the face of external challenges and resource inequities, empowering them to create a better future through their own strength.
We believe the future is not just ours; it is theirs. These young indigenous people will not only inherit the wisdom of the past but will also combine it with modern technology to create a future that is uniquely their own. Every time We see the hope in their eyes, we know that all the hard work and sacrifices are worth it.
This path is not easy. Behind every success lies countless efforts and sweat, but these efforts will bring about the revival of communities, the preservation of culture, and the hope of generation after generation. This is not just my mission; it is a shared vision for all of us. Let us work together to create a better tomorrow for these communities and for these young people.
